The Watering Can book was inspired when my Granddaughter picked up my daughter’s old watering can and wanted to water with me. Struggling with empty nest, this helped me to see the light at the end of the tunnel and inspired me to write a book! This book is full of pretty illustrations, a story about the circle of life, and has an index at the end of common flowers to help kids identify them. Old Red is a vintage tractor restored like new that has many adventures! She helps on her family’s farm during the spring tulip season as well as harvest time! During the holiday season she helps a friend when their tractor breaks down, working on their Christmas tree farm. Old Red spring and harvest include tips on maintaining your tractor as well as some simple illustrations explaining combustion engines. Hopefully these books will “spark” an interest in your child of mechanical things!
