You have published your book, created your website and now you want some cute items so you can spread the word about your wonderful book!

But where to start?

There are so many options online. But you need to weed through them to see what will work best for you. In addition to having marketing materials, you want to get them reasonably so that you make some profit off them because as most of us know, we don’t always become millionaires from our books. So its nice to beef up your profits with some fun items that promote your books.

I got this blog idea from a client whom I illustrated a book for when she kindly sent me a bag with the main character from her book printed on it.

She had sent this gift to me through a very well known printing company online that is not cheap. So if she were to sell these items she would need to charge a lot, and it is always difficult to sell pricey items, especially on something not well known. That being said I texted her right away to thank her, and then told her there were better options online, and that is where the idea came for this blog.

So here are a few sites to print items.

This site has a ton of options for you… from wall art, yoga mats, shirts, stationary to tote bags, this company has a lot of options. I believe you can upload 12 images to this site and print for free. After that you have to pay a fee to have unlimited images.

I have only ordered garden flags from this site so far, but they were very colorful and looked great! There are a ton of options here as well.

Lily Lama Prints

Who doesn’t love stickers? I know I do! And this company offers great ones at reasonable prices. Stickers are great to add to an order for kids to enjoy or to place on packaging. Either way they are fun and reasonable at this site!

Print Runner

Bookmarks! A bookmark with colorful images from your book with information about you and MORE of your books! It is a great idea, and this company offers great prices and colorful bookmarks that you will love… I did!

Vistaprint

Vistaprint offers tons of things to print, I have used them for postcards and business cards. Lots of options here as well! When someone buys a painting from me, I try to send a postcard of thanks, and this is where I get mine.

Lastly if you are going to do in person events, its nice to have a banner on your table telling everyone who you are! I found mine on etsy at this shop. It was great quality, and I love it!
